Bogotá has a subtropical highland climate as it is located on a high plateau in the Northern Andes Mountains. The average yearly temperature is around 14.5 degrees. Although there are two seasons, the weather is fairly stable throughout the year.
Throughout the year the temperature usually sits somewhere in between 7 degrees and 19 degrees. The hot season is between the end of December to the end of March and the cold season is from the end of June to the end of August. The driest months are December, January, July and August and temperatures are at their highest in March.
