Although Queenstown has four main seasons, there’s a vast array of fun events all year round. From food and wine festivals to sports events and live music. This lively city always has something going on and there are plenty of free, family friendly events.

Don’t miss Arrowtown Autumn festival in April, it’s a five day long festival with a street parade and market day. Queenstown International Marathon is held in November which is an excellent event to watch. There’s also the Queenstown Indonesia Festival, American Express Queenstown Festival and of course, New Year’s Eve celebrations with music and fireworks on the lake front.
